2011 Renaissance Festival
We spent the day at a Renaissance Festival. The day was filled with people in costume, comedy shows held on 12 different stages, great food (note the picture of the turkey leg!), whimzy, unique gift shops and most of all warm sunshine.

Wuertz Farm's Gourd Festival
I attended the 8th annual Gourd Festival in Casa Grande (south of Phoenix). It is absolutely amazing the artwork that is done on a gourd!
